  When must a company hold its annual shareholder meeting?

A company must hold its annual shareholder meeting no later than 12 months following the end of its fiscal year. Please note, however, that most companies hold their annual meeting within six months of their fiscal year end.  For information about when a newly listed company must hold an annual meeting, please see FAQ #86.  For information about when a SPAC must hold an annual meeting, please see FAQ #1417.
